Solo VR Game Development

Slicing Savant is a Fruit Ninja inspired VR game that I built all by myself from the ground up with no previous experience. It contains complex interactive levels, many custom 3D assets built in Blender, and original audio, all designed from scratch.
I self-taught C# programming in Unity, 3D modelling in Blender, and sound design in Audacity. This project dramatically improved my skills in 3D modelling, coding architecture, game design theory, and project planning. It demonstrates the same systematic approach I bring to engineering - breaking a large, unfamiliar problem into manageable pieces and learning whatever is needed to solve each one. Unfortunately I ultimately decided to not complete the game due to the VR market crashing, although I would love to pick it back up some day if the next generation of VR tech hits the mark better.
